How we count users

Headcount is not the same every day. So we do not base the invoice on the peak.

Over a month people join, leave, change roles or work seasonally. That is why we record the number of users for each day separately and calculate the daily average at the end of the month. We do not charge the highest number of users you had at any moment as if it had been active all month.

Every day counts separately. Billing is based on the monthly average.

Postpaid

First the month ends. Then we calculate.

The real average number of users, the active organisational units and module usage are only known once the month is over. That is why we invoice postpaid, based on that month’s data and the agreed monthly minimum.

You pay for actual usage, not an estimate made upfront.

Three parts of the calculation

You know exactly what you are paying for.

Every organisation has a different number of people, locations and processes. That is why the monthly price is made up of three clear parts, instead of packages that force you to pay for what you do not need.

01 · Users

We count the average number of users, not the highest number of accounts.

We record the number of users in both categories for each day separately, then calculate the monthly average. Changes in headcount during the month enter the calculation exactly as they happened.

Employees: 6,70 €per averaged user per month
Other users: 12 €per averaged user per month

Employees only access the employee mobile app. Other users include team leads, location managers, regional managers, HR, administrators and anyone else with any kind of administrative access.

For organisations with more than 300 users we apply a volume discount scale and prepare a tailored quote.

02 · Organisational units

The organisation is billed the way it is actually set up.

An organisational unit can be a location, a venue, a department or another part of the organisation that is planned and tracked separately.

You only add the processes you want to run through rêd app.

You can extend the base platform with CROSO process automation, internal communication and tools for consistent execution of standards across locations.

Getting started does not come with hidden costs.

Implementation, the initial data migration, support and training materials are included in the price. Your team gets everything it needs to roll out rêd app without an extra entry fee.

Frequently asked questions about pricing

How is the monthly rêd app price built?

The monthly price consists of the average daily number of employees, the average daily number of other users, active organisational units and the add-on modules you use.

How is the average number of users calculated?

For each day of the billing month we determine the number of users in each category. We divide the sum of the daily values by the number of calendar days in the month. That way changes in headcount during the month are reflected in the invoice, instead of billing the whole month at the highest number of users.

Who counts as an employee and who as another user?

An employee is a user who only accesses the employee mobile app. Other users are everyone with any kind of administrative access, including team leads, location managers, regional managers, HR and administrators.

Are add-on modules mandatory?

No. You choose add-on modules based on the processes you want to run through rêd app. CROSO automation, Plus1 and Operational Excellence have separate billing units.

Do you offer a discount for a large number of users?

Yes. For organisations with more than 300 users we apply a volume discount scale and prepare a quote based on the user structure, organisational units and the modules in use. An agreed fixed monthly price model is also possible.

What is an active organisational unit?

An organisational unit can be a location, a venue, a department or another part of the organisation that is planned and tracked separately. It counts as active if it had at least one shift or at least one employee during the billing month.

Are implementation and the initial migration charged separately?

No. Standard implementation and the initial data migration are included in the price, along with online materials, one guided HR training for management and the HR team, and regular support.

How much does additional training cost?

One guided HR training for management and the HR team is included in the price. Each further guided session, for example a separate training for location managers, costs €290 per session. Online materials remain available at no extra charge.

Is there a contractual commitment?

There is no mandatory contract term. The contract defines a monthly minimum of 80% of the estimated monthly value determined at signing.

Is rêd app paid in advance?

No. Billing is postpaid. The invoice is issued after the month ends, once the actual average user numbers, active organisational units and add-on module usage are known. Billing is subject to the agreed monthly minimum.

Do the prices include VAT?

No. All prices shown exclude VAT and other tax obligations. Withholding tax and other tax obligations that may arise for foreign buyers are not included in the amounts shown.

How are CROSO changes and deregistrations charged?

A new filing costs €1.80. If that filing was submitted through rêd app, each subsequent change or deregistration costs €0.99.

Can I get an indicative calculation first?

Yes. The calculator gives an indicative monthly calculation based on the structure you enter. If the organisation has more than 300 users, we will point you to a tailored quote with the volume discount scale.
